Who is Ramon Stoppelenburg?
Before even finishing my journalism study, I travelled the world for free on its most unique way ever done, through my website
Letmestayforaday.com from 2001 to 2003. One year later I wrote the book about this unforgettable experience.
After that I became manager of a restaurant and professional relaxation masseur.
As an
all-round freelancer in online internet media productions I worked for BNN, the ANWB, TRAVEL Magazine, Nijgh & Van Ditmar Publishing, HCC, Transavia.com, UWV, TNO, DHL, Loyalis, Foreign Media Books and their imprint TradeMark.
Since 2010 I also manage
The Gerry & Marty Show, Amsterdam's best improv comedy talent, for their tours. You can book them too, ha!
In June 2008 I compiled the literary stories for the book
Fasten Your Seat Belt!, which contained the best new stories about flying from young Dutch authors.
That same month I climbed Kilimanjaro for the first time myself and I discovered that such climb can be done by everyone (with a bit of conditioning). The Expedition Kilimanjaro was born!
In September 2010 I exchanged living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, for a life in the capital city of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, where I currently still reside and manage
The Flicks Festival Movie House.
